Overview
Cequence provides Virtual Appliances for various cloud and on-premises environments. The Cequence Unified API Protection (UAP) platform follows a hub and spoke model to deploy the solution. The Cequence UAP platform is the hub. It gets data from the Data Plane components or the spokes, that can be inline or passive. Sensor is the passive component.
This document describes how to deploy the Sensor virtual appliance in your environment. Single node appliances are ideal for quick deployments in low traffic environments.

- 8 GB SSD Disk

Inbound
- SSH (tcp/22)
- HTTPS (tcp/443)
Outbound
Sensor communicates with the Cequence UAP platform to send metadata and pull down policy for enforcement against bad actors.
