This article provides instructions for inline integration of the Defender to an existing IBM DataPower IBM DataPower Gateway.
Prerequisites
- Pre-deployed Cequence UAP: Ensure your Cequence Unified API Protection (UAP) platform is fully operational. Refer to the Cequence documentation for specific Cequence UAP deployment instructions.
- Enable Traffic Filter on Cequence UAP: Make sure all traffic filters are enabled in the Cequence UAP platform using the following guide - Enable Traffic Filters
- IBM DataPower Gateway FQDN: Available in your IBM API Connect Portal
Deployment Steps
Upstream
Set the upstream server to the IBM DataPower Gateway FQDN

Defender Deployment Options
